Elizabeth Reaser, an American actor on film, TV and stage, is most well-known for roles like The Twilight Saga as well as TV shows such as Greys Anatomy or True Detective. Jessica, after reading the script for the scene was aware that it was essential to master weaponry. Therefore, she took her very first training lesson. Jonathan Glassner stated that they had awed by Jessica's skills during her first training lesson. Jessica had never been in a major role before in the US, as all of her filmography was in Australia. Jessica is able to embody her strong female role because of her passion for action, her mixed martial arts abilities as well as her horse riding, weapons and firearms skills, in addition to her athletic abilities. She learned boxing, muay Thai and is a member of a mixed martial arts gym in Australia. Jake Stormoen spotted a dog roaming around the filming set of Season 4 while on set.
